WARSAW, Poland – September 15, 2006 – Netia SA (“Netia”, the “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, announced that it received today a signed copy of an agreement with Telekomunikacja Polska SA with its seat in Warsaw (“TP”) on provisioning by TP to Netia of the local loop unbundling services for the purpose of Netia’s selling broadband data transmission services (bitstream access) (the “Agreement”).

 

The Agreement was concluded based on the terms established in the bitstream access reference offer, introduced by the decision of the President of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) dated May 10, 2006 (decision No. DRT-WWM-6062-9/04(226)). The Agreement is binding since August 16, 2006.
