Adjustment of the forecast for 2007
WARSAW, Poland – November 14, 2007 – Netia SA (“Netia” or the “Company”) (WSE: NET), Poland’s largest alternative provider of fixed-line telecommunications services, today announced that, after assessing the possibility of achieving the projected financial results for 2007 as published in the Company’s current report dated April 18, 2007, adjusted in the consolidated quarterly report for the second quarter of 2007, and taking into consideration results of an analysis of sales revenues, investment expenditure and the number of broadband clients, Netia would like to adjust its forecast for 2007 with respect to the value of the investment outlays. The adjustment notification results from a decrease by more than 10% between the new and the previously forecasted level of investment outlays.
2007 investment expenditure is expected to be at a range from PLN 230 million to PLN 240 million as compared to the previously forecasted PLN 275 million.
In addition, Netia announced that the update of the Company forecast has been published in the consolidated quarterly report for the third quarter of 2007 published today.
Netia monitors the possibilities of achieving its forecast results on a quarterly basis, based on an analysis of sales revenues, investment expenditure and the number of broadband clients.
